June 6, 2014 Chattanooga Zoo

Being Ms. Wheelchair Tennessee allows me the privilege to be a public figure and meet so many special people. Every year, the Chattanooga Zoo opens after hours for families with children who have special needs and, in a partnership with Unum, provides admission, activities, and food at no cost.

What a great night at the Nashville Special Olympics held at Lipscomb University! I had the privilege of being a banner judge and boy, was that a tough job!

April 26, 2014, Cleveland, Tennessee

I had the privilege of participating in my local Special Olympics on April 26th. What a wonderful day this was! As Ms. Wheelchair Tennessee, I was able to participate in the ribbon ceremony after each event. To see these athletes stand on the podium and accept their awards was such an amazing experience. I met so many sweet people who I will never forget!

April 12, 2014 Belmont University

What a fun day! This was my first official Ms. Wheelchair Tennessee event and it was a great start to my reign! I was able to meet the amazing Jessica and Adam Harthcock from Utilize Health and Teal Sherer, board member for the Nashville chapter of NSCIA. I hope to do great things with these ladies in the future!
