Samantha “Sam” Moreno relocated to Tennessee from Oklahoma in 2011 after meeting her husband. In 2010, Sam was crowned Ms. Wheelchair Oklahoma and was honored to represent her State at the national pageant in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is thrilled to have been asked to revive the Ms. Wheelchair program in Tennessee. Sam has received her Masters of Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She works as an Employment Specialist with the disAbility Resource Center, a Peer2Peer Trainer with the Memphis Center for Independent Living, and the Director of Volunteer and Employment Services for McGrath Solutions, Inc. Sam resides in Knoxville with her husband, Mike McGrath.

As State Coordinator, you must:
o Facilitate Board Meetings
o Assist Other Board Members
o Maintain Contact with the Ms. Wheelchair America Board of Directors
o Maintain Operation According to Ms. Wheelchair America Policy & Procedure
o Maintain Contact and Assist Ms. Wheelchair Tennessee
o Obtain and Maintain Sponsors
o Recruit Quality Competitors for Annual Ms., Jr. Miss, and Little Miss Pageants
o Coordinate the Annual Ms. Wheelchair Tennessee Pageant
o Maintain Contact with Past Titleholders
